Acceptable Use Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to everything you make or upload with Wish Generator: texts, photo cards, videos, talking cards, songs and voice messages, and the photos, recordings and music you add to them. It is part of our Terms of Service.

Wish Generator is made for personal greetings to the people in your life. Use it for that, and nothing on this page will ever get in your way.

2. Real people and their agreement

A photo card, a video or a talking card can show real people. That is allowed only when they agreed to it.

• Upload a photo only if you are in it, or the people in it agreed to be in your greeting. Adding a photo is your confirmation of that - the line beside the button says so.
• Animating a real person's photo, making them speak or drawing them into a new picture confirms it again, for that greeting.
• For a child, the parent or guardian decides.
• Do not make a greeting that puts words in someone's mouth to mislead others, or that could be taken for a real photo or recording of them.
• If a person asks you to delete a greeting with them in it, delete it. We will do the same if they write to us.

3. What is never allowed

Whatever the wording or the purpose, you may not use Wish Generator to make:

• deepfakes - pictures, videos or voices that show a real person doing or saying something they did not, made to deceive;
• content that passes you or anyone else off as another person, or pretends to come from a person or a company it does not come from;
• pictures, videos or voices of real famous people - celebrities, politicians and other public figures - even as a joke;
• a voice that is not your own: the only voice you can make is yours, recorded live in your browser;
• sexual or nude content of anyone, or any content that sexualises children - such content involving a child is reported to the authorities;
• content that bullies, threatens or humiliates a person, or stirs up hate against people for who they are;
• graphic violence or self-harm, or anything that encourages it;
• scams, fraud, spam, or anything that breaks the law or someone else's rights, including copyright.

4. How we check

Before any credits are taken, the words of your request and the photos you add pass an automatic safety check. The finished picture or video is checked again before you see it. If a request breaks these rules, nothing is made and nothing is charged; if a finished result breaks them, it is not shown and your credits come back.

Every picture, video and sound we make says in its file that it was created with AI, and greetings on our site carry the same label. Please do not remove it or pass the result off as a real photo or recording.

We keep a record of every confirmation - when, and for which photo - and of every refusal, but never the words or the pictures of a refused request. We use these records only to protect the people in the photos and to answer lawful requests.

5. Reporting and removal

If you see a greeting that shows you without your agreement, or one that breaks these rules, tell us through the report form. You do not need an account.

We review every report within 48 hours. While we look into it, we can hide the greeting at once; if it breaks the rules, it stays removed.

6. When the rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

• remove the greeting or the photo;
• pause or close the account, without refunding unused credits;
• refuse a new account to a person who used the service to harm someone;
• report it to the police or other authorities where the law requires it.
