1. Service Agreement
These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and the Wish Generator team. They cover what we provide, what you can expect from us, and what happens if either side cannot hold up their end.
The terms apply every time you use the service - as a guest, with a free account, or on a paid plan. If something here does not sit right, please stop using the app. These Terms of Service govern. Our Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and AI Disclosure are part of this agreement, and if anything in them conflicts with these Terms of Service, these Terms of Service apply.
Wish Generator is operated by the Wish Generator team. For anything about the service itself, write to [email protected]. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, which acts as merchant of record and is the seller for your purchase; Paddle issues the invoice and handles refunds and order enquiries.
2. Account & Access
You can use most of the service without an account. An account unlocks saved history, larger daily quotas, and sync across your devices.
- You must be 13 or older to create an account. To buy a plan you must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
- One account per person - sharing credentials breaks rate limits and hurts output quality.
- If we see abusive activity tied to an account, we may pause it while we investigate.
3. Billing & Refunds
The free plan covers most casual use. Paid plans remove daily caps and unlock premium generators.
Subscription
Charged monthly or yearly. Cancel anytime from your account - access stays active until the end of the paid period.
Refunds
Within 14 days of a payment you get a full refund, as long as no credits from it have been spent. Spent credits cannot be refunded.
Renewal notice
About seven days before each automatic charge we email the address on your account, so a renewal never arrives unannounced. Cancel before that date and you are not charged again.
4. Warranties & Liability
The service is provided as-is. We cannot promise it will work perfectly in every situation or for every use case.
Wish Generator is a creative tool. Treat what it writes as a starting point - not finished legal, medical, or personal advice.
Within what the law allows, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before any dispute. We are a small team, and this keeps things fair for both sides.
5. Ending the Service
You can stop using Wish Generator at any time - close your account from settings and we will delete your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer (for example, billing records).
We may retire the service itself with reasonable notice. If that happens while you are on a paid plan, we will refund the unused portion and let you export your history before we shut it down.
You own the wishes you create. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them to improve the service. That licence ends when you close your account, apart from anything we have already published. We will not feature a wish that names a real person in marketing without asking you first.
6. Bonus credits & invitations
Besides the credits of a plan, you can get bonus credits - for inviting friends and for a few first steps in the app. The Invite friends page in your account lists what gives them and what you have received.
- Bonus credits have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, moved to another account or refunded, and they are spent after the credits of your plan.
- They do not expire while your account exists. When you delete your account, they are gone.
- An invitation counts when a new person signs up through your link. A person who already had an account, a throwaway mailbox and an account made from your own network do not count. Credits for invitations stop at 20 friends in 30 days.
- Friends who joined through your link in the last 30 days give a discount on your plan: 3% for one friend, 5% for three, 7% for six and 10% for ten. We work it out again before each payment, so it can go up or down.
- People who open your invitation link see your first name. Nothing else about you is shown.
- The bonus for a review is for a review in our own form, and it does not depend on what you write or the rating you give. We do not reward reviews on other sites.
If bonuses come from fake accounts, inviting yourself or other tricks, we may remove those credits and discounts and pause the account while we look into it. We may change or end the bonus programme with notice in the app; credits already given stay yours.
7. What you upload and share
Photos, recordings and music you upload stay yours. By uploading them you confirm that you have the right to use them in a greeting: the people in the photos agree (for a child, the parent or guardian), and the music is yours or you have permission to use it.
- Your own music under a video is used only to make that video. It stays in your account until you delete it, and we do not share it or use it for anything else.
- You can offer a photo card or a video to Explore, our feed of examples. Only the picture or the video is shown there - never the words of your greeting or any names. We look at it before it appears.
- By sending it you confirm that everyone in it agreed to be shown publicly. If someone changes their mind, remove it from Explore in My greetings and it leaves the feed at once. It also leaves when you delete the greeting or your account.
- An approved greeting earns 200 bonus credits, at most five times a month. Removing it later does not take those credits back.
Our Acceptable Use Policy lists what may never be made: deepfakes, passing yourself or anyone else off as another person, real famous people, a voice that is not your own, sexual content and anything that harms a child. We remove anything that breaks it or our Terms of Use, including photos of people who did not agree, and we may pause or close the account without refunding unused credits. If a greeting shows you without your agreement, report it - we review every report within 48 hours.
